The program aims to reduce barriers SMEs face in investing in emerging trends and innovation.

SME@UTS PATHWAY

  1. Ideation and innovation – use the futuremap® tool developed by the Innovative Manufacturing CRC (IMCRC) to map SMEs maturity levels and capabilities in marketing positioning; leadership, strategy and change management; innovation and use of technology; digital manufacturing (Industry 4.0)
  2. Innovation and leadership skills – participate in digital and peer learning masterclasses
  3. Student talent – work with UTS to solve known business problems and innovation challenges
  4. World class technological facilities – build familiarity with relevant technologies by accessing UTS’s unique facilities and equipment
  5. Experimentation – leverage UTS’s capabilities to pilot and prototype innovation projects to advance tech readiness
