What you’ll study
Your International Studies will see you study your country and language of choice, building your capabilities and insights into your chosen culture. Your choice of pathway will then see you complete a global exchange, an international Honours project or an industry engagement project.
Meanwhile, you'll complete a range of Law subjects to build your knowledge of topics like torts, contracts, constitutional law, justice and ethics. You can also opt to complete a major in Legal Futures and Technology or select an array of Options subjects to broaden your disciplinary knowledge.
Course highlights
This degree will give you the chance to acquire extensive language and cultural capabilities, as well as offer exchange opportunities. Further, your Law studies will give you the opportunity to acquire knowledge of fundamental legal theory and practice and meet the academic requirements for admission to practise law in NSW.

Industry accreditation
This course satisfies the academic requirements for admission to the Supreme Court of NSW as a lawyer. Once completed, you will also need to complete a practical legal training program, such as the Graduate Certificate in Professional Legal Practice (available at UTS) to be eligible for admission as a lawyer.
