What you’ll study
This program reflects best practices, addresses current issues and builds the advanced, unique skillset required to effectively manage NFPs and social enterprises. You’ll cover topics like social change, creative problem-solving, legal considerations and people management and receive insight from industry-leading guest speakers.
With practical assessments designed to reflect real-life challenges, you’ll get hands-on experience in developing volunteer management plans, fundraising plans, advocacy plans and more. Bringing your learning together, you’ll finalise your degree with your management capstone, where you’ll complete either an industry research project or internship.

First year
You’ll begin with a range of core subjects, building your knowledge of advocacy, social change, and fundraising. You’ll also learn how to measure social impact and complete a hands-on workshop, where you’ll create, develop and pitch an event concept proposal. -
Second year
In your final year, you’ll get to curate your learning, choosing the disciplinary elective that best suits your interests and career plan. You’ll undertake either an industry research project or a practical internship, synthesising your knowledge and skills.
