What you’ll study
You'll commence your learning with a range of core Property Development subjects. In these, you'll build familiarity with the key elements of this discipline, such as the development process, transactions, valuation and risk analysis.
Then, you'll choose to pursue a sub-major in property valuation or urban planning or opt to broaden your horizons with your choice of options subjects. You'll complete your degree with a group project, where you'll collaborate with others in a group setting to research and plan the development of an urban renewal site.

This program is designed to equip Property Development professionals and those in related fields with the capabilities required to operate at a senior level. You'll get the chance to acquire competencies in investment, planning, valuation, risk analysis and finance, as well as critical skills in communication, collaboration and management.

Industry accreditation
Master of Property Development graduates who complete the Valuation sub-major meet the educational requirements for accreditation as a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV), plus the Certified Property Practitioner (CPP) and the Certified Development Practitioner (CDP) with the Australian Property Institute (API). This course also maps to the Planning and Development pathway, Valuation pathway, and the Land and Resources pathway with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
