What you'll study
Applicants must contact the Legal Profession Administration Board (LPAB) before applying to this course. The LPAB's assessment will inform the subjects you're required to undertake to achieve this qualification.
Once enrolled, you'll complete a minimum of 48 credit points, however some courses may be substituted based on your LPAB assessment outcome. You'll learn about contracts, torts, litigation, evidence and more, ensuring you graduate with a comprehensive understanding of Australian law and its contexts and applications.
Course highlights
This course will give you the opportunity to translate your international law experience into a qualification appropriate for Australia. Successful graduates can meet the academic requirements for admission as a lawyer to the NSW Supreme Court in as little as one year of full-time study.

Industry accreditation
In order to qualify for admission to the Supreme Court of NSW as a lawyer, some students may be required to complete a practical legal training program, such as the Graduate Certificate in Professional Legal Practice.
