Graduates meet the educational requirements for membership with CPA Australia (CPAA), Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).

This course targets professionals with business experience seeking formal qualifications to advance into the master's programs in professional accounting. Opt for this course to bridge the gap between your practical experience and the academic credentials required for higher-level studies. What sets this course apart is its comprehensive blend of accounting, finance, economics, and law, tailored to equip you with a robust foundation for managerial success in a fast-paced business landscape. You will acquire critical skills in financial analysis, strategic decision-making, and a solid grasp of economic and legal frameworks. Learning will be interactive, combining theoretical insights with practical applications, ensuring you are well-prepared for the complexities of modern business management.
What sets this course apart is its comprehensive blend of accounting, finance, economics, and law, tailored to equip them with a robust foundation for managerial success in a fast-paced business landscape.
The course may be completed in one session of full-time or one year of part-time study.

Classes are offered over three teaching periods each year (namely Autumn, Spring and Summer sessions). Not all subjects are available in Summer session.

In most cases, subjects are offered on the basis of one three-hour lecture per week over a 13-week period, however, certain subjects may be delivered in intensive mode and completed over a shorter time period.
To be eligible for admission to this course, applicants must meet the following criteria.

Applicants must have one of the following:
- Completed Australian bachelor's degree, or overseas equivalent
OR
- A minimum of 4 years full-time or equivalent part-time, relevant post-secondary professional experience AND a general capacity to undertake tertiary education
Relevant professional experience refers to any current work experience in which you have developed skills, knowledge, and competencies directly related to the course for which you are applying. This includes roles such as managers, professionals, technicians, community, personal service, clerical, administrative, or sales workers across various industries.

Supporting documentation to be submitted with the application

For applicants who need to demonstrate work experience:
- Curriculum Vitae ANDStatement of service in one of the following formats:
  - A 'Statement of Service' provided by the employer
  - A completed 'UTS statement of service’ signed by the employer
  - A statutory declaration confirming work experience (for Australian Residents only)
  - An official letter from the applicant’s accountant or solicitor on their company letterhead confirming the applicant’s work experience or engagement with the business, duration of operations, and the nature of the business
  - A business certificate of registration in original language and English (e.g. provision of ASIC documentation or ABN or similar documentation for Australian Businesses)

As a postgraduate student, you'll be responsible for covering your own tuition fees.

- Indicative total tuition fee: $38,900.00
You can choose to pay your fees upfront per session, or if you’re eligible, you can defer them using a government FEE-HELP loan. This loan helps you cover all or part of your tuition fees. Keep in mind that applications for this loan are specific to each course.

Additional Costs

Your tuition fees do not include:
- The Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF), which supports student services and activities. If eligible, you can defer this fee using SA-HELP.
- Textbooks, materials, and other course-related costs.
- Any applicable payment processing fees (e.g., credit card surcharges).

- Your actual fees depend on the year you enrol, your study load and the subjects you choose. Some subjects fall into different student contribution bands.
