What you’ll study
This program is delivered in person and designed to be completed in 18 months full-time or three years part-time. In this course, you'll acquire a wide array of competencies in a variety of vital areas, spanning urban design, architecture, economics, law and ecology.
You'll engage with policy, environmental and demographic frameworks and discover how they inform the decisions that shape our urban environments. As a capstone, you'll undertake your choice of minor or major project in your final year, giving you the invaluable opportunity to put your learning into practice.

First year
You'll commence your studies with core urban planning subjects, where you'll discover the processes, legislation and sustainable perspectives that apply to this profession. Depending on your selection, you'll then begin your major or minor project stream. -
Second year
Rounding out your studies, you'll finish your core units, examining economics, planning and spatial analysis. You'll also complete your chosen project, establishing acute practical capabilities in strategy and problem-solving in an urban planning setting.
