What you’ll study
With flexible delivery options, including online and in-person learning, this course is designed to be completed in two years full-time or four years part-time. You’ll undertake core studies in law foundations, building your understanding of the origins and contemporary responsibilities of the Australian legal system.
You’ll get to direct your own studies, choosing from core units on topics like administrative, constitutional and criminal law. Your choice of subjects gives you even more flexibility, offering you the opportunity to study Animal Law, Commercial Equity, Environmental Ethics and more.

First year
Your degree program will start with a number of core subjects, where you’ll develop vital foundational knowledge and understanding of Australian law. You’ll complete core subjects of your choice, covering topics like contracts, torts and company law. -
Second year
This year, you’ll choose from an array of subjects, aligning your studies to your interests or goals. You’ll select eight subjects from the over 60 on offer, spanning areas from disability and feminist perspectives to negotiation and patent law.
Course highlights
In this degree you’ll be taught an advanced working understanding of the Australian legal system, as well as specialised knowledge in your chosen areas of specialty.
