Package Offer

International students who do not meet the admission requirements for the Master of Project Management, but are eligible for the Graduate Certificate in Project Management will be issued with a package offer for both courses. The total duration to complete both the Graduate Certificate in Project Management and the Master of Project Management as a package is 1.5 years.

Commonwealth Supported Places

There are a limited number of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) available in this course, which are competitive and awarded based on merit. To be considered for a CSP, applicants must:

  • Indicate their interest in a CSP on their application.
  • Apply on time in line with CSP deadlines (it is recommended applicants apply early as applications are assessed progressively).

Eligible applicants must accept their offer by the lapse date to retain their place. For application deadlines and information, please refer to Postgraduate courses with Commonwealth Supported Places.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Students entering the UTS Master of Project Management (C04006) from the UTS Graduate Diploma in Construction Management (C06126) are granted 48cp of RPL.

  1. First year

    Your first year will see you undertake a number of core Project Management units, acquiring advanced communication, scoping and quality management skills. You'll also begin your curated path, engaging in options subjects or starting studies towards your chosen sub-major.
  2. Second year

    In your final six months, you'll build on your foundational understandings and establish advanced project management knowledge, enhancing your capabilities in areas like innovative thinking, entrepreneurship, and leadership. You'll finalise your studies by completing any remaining optional or sub-major units.

In this program, we teach an extensive array of essential competencies required in project management professionals, including procurement, stakeholder engagement, scheduling and financial management.
