What you’ll study

In your Communication Literacies stream, you'll study both the technological and cultural aspects of communication, building a foundation for your future learning. Then, you'll begin to build specialised knowledge and skills through your core Music and Sound Design units.

Here, you'll learn about audio production, creating soundtracks for screen, audio cultures and much more. Your self-directed sound project will give you the chance to put your learning into practice, while your choice of electives will allow you to broaden your knowledge of the disciplines of communications and media. 

Course highlights

This degree is designed to give you both the technical, theoretical and practical capabilities required, along with hands-on experience in professional sound studios and on collaborative projects. Throughout this course, you'll have the opportunity to build a portfolio of sound works that demonstrate your creativity and professionalism to future employers.
