What you’ll study
The UTS Diploma in Languages can be completed concurrently with another UTS undergraduate or postgraduate program or can be undertaken as a standalone course. Before you commence your studies, you'll need to identify your language and culture of choice, selecting from Chinese, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Japanese.
You'll undertake language classes as well as having the opportunity to take other related subjects, such as Intercultural Communication. You’ll also have the option to study overseas to put your language skills into practice and increase your proficiency.
Course highlights
You'll have the opportunity to develop both your fluency in a language other than English and your understanding of the culture and customs of your country of choice. This course is designed to equip you with an enhanced awareness of intercultural communication, preparing you for opportunities across the globe.
