What you’ll study
Events is one of five majors available in the UTS Bachelor of Management. Within this program, you’ll complete a range of core disciplinary subjects to build essential capabilities in management, innovation and marketing.
You’ll then concentrate your learning as you study toward your major, obtaining vital professional skills in event management, promotion and sponsorships. You can opt to enhance your specialisation through a second major or sub-major or experience different perspectives with electives from other disciplines like arts, technology and health.

First year
Build foundational skills in management and marketing while exploring the contexts and impacts of events and entertainment. Study innovation, entrepreneurship, and event management, with options to customise your learning through electives, a sub-major or a second major. -
Second year
Acquire practical experience in the Innovation Lab and develop skills in managing risk and legal issues. Explore event promotion and sponsorship, with flexibility to choose additional electives. -
Third year
Focus on venue operations and servicescapes, and apply your knowledge in a business internship or diversity management. Complete your studies with the capstone in managing for social impact and hands-on experience in the Event Creation Lab.
