UTS takes a ‘whole of university’ approach to implementing the right of self-determination of Indigenous peoples. Our flagship Indigenous student centre and Indigenous research centre are core to UTS’s commitment to excellence in education and research.
Through these centres, and our people across our faculties we aim to improve outcomes for Indigenous communities and diverse groups across our nation.
UTS encourages Indigenous staff to be advocates for change. We take a strengths-based approach to creating direct, practical positive impact in education, research, engagement, and employment outcomes.
