Digital media international experience

Bachelor of Communication (Digital and Social Media) Bachelor of International Studies (Honours) is an exit-point if you have completed the International Honours pathway within the Bachelor of Communication (Digital and Social Media) Bachelor of International Studies


In the fourth year of the combined degree, you spend an academic year studying in the local language at a university in the country of their major and also complete an honours level research project under the supervision of a relevant UTS academic.

What you’ll study

Through case study analysis and applied learning, the Bachelor of Communication (Digital and Social Media) offers a comprehensive understanding of digital and social media as both a social phenomenon and future career pathway.


You will focus on practical exercises to develop user engagement strategies, create prototypes for app development, and understand the intricacies of social media communication. By the end of the course, you will have built a sizeable portfolio of work to show to employers and assist your entry into a large job market.
