What you’ll study

This postgraduate program is offered by distance only, offering you the opportunity to undertake your studies entirely online. Within this course, you’ll complete three core subjects, establishing your comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of contemporary Trade Mark Law and Practice in an Australian and New Zealand context.

As part of these core subjects, you’ll complete a professional preparation course which will hone your capabilities and give you insight into the intellectual property profession. You’ll then specialise your learning with your disciplinary options subject, which include Copyright, Patents and other aspects of Intellectual Property Law.

    You’ll develop the necessary knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand legal systems and the practice of trade marks law. You’ll learn about the roles and responsibilities of practitioners in the industry and curate your learning with your choice of optional subject.
