As part of the honours program, you’ll spend a year overseas at one of our partner universities, enjoying an immersive cultural experience without adding extra time to your combined degree. What you’ll study
This program will provide you with cultural studies aligned with your chosen language, helping you develop practical intercultural communication skills applicable in diverse contexts. You’ll also have opportunities to undertake internships and/or international study abroad experiences.
You’ll complete a range of core subjects in both your Criminology and International Studies streams, building your essential disciplinary knowledge and skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to pursue a Criminology major or extended major of your choice, enhancing your specialised skillset.
Then, you’ll commence your international honours pathway, where you’ll spend an entire academic year studying at a partner university in your country of choice. During this time, you’ll complete an honours-level research project under the supervision of a UTS academic.
