What you'll study
Delivered 100% online, this program can be completed in one year full-time depending on subjects chosen and when you start your studies. Within this degree, you'll select eight units from our wide variety of relevant, interesting subjects, which cover areas like patent law, trade mark law, Traditional Knowledge and more.
You'll learn about patents, trade marks, copyright and other areas of intellectual property law and build vital insight into how it is applied in an Australian and New Zealand context. Please note that some subjects may not be available in every session.

Industry accreditation
By completing all eight accredited subjects, students can meet the knowledge requirements for registration as a Patent Attorney in Australia and New Zealand or Trade Marks Attorney in Australia with the Trans-Tasman Intellectual Property Attorneys Board (TTIPAB).
