To begin your studies, you’ll undertake a variety of core subjects to develop your knowledge of key supply chain theories and perspectives. You’ll study Operations, Sustainable Procurement and Network Productivity and curate your learning with the options of your choice.
Second year

Building on the solid foundation of your first year, your second year will see you get hands-on with either a research or internship capstone. You’ll also finalise your optional units, specialising in topics like quality management, project management and analytics.

To be eligible for admission to this course, applicants must meet the following criteria.

Applicants must have the following:
- Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included)
Applicants who do not meet the criteria above should consider applying for C07129 Graduate Diploma in Strategic Supply Chain Management or C11199 Graduate Certificate in Strategic Supply Chain Management.

Eligibility for admission does not guarantee offer of a place.
This course has been accredited to MCIPS standards by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). Following the completion of the course and three years' of relevant work experience, graduates are eligible to apply for MCIPS. Students who wish to apply for MCIPS must meet the following conditions:
- Complete the following two electives as part of the options list:
  - 21946 Supply Chain Management Analytics
  - 77942 Legal Aspects of Contract Administration
- Complete their project and all assessment tasks on a procurement and supply chain-related topic in the Industry Research Project (21890) or the Internship Experience (26799) subjects, and
- Pass all subjects with no credit given for any form of advanced standing, credit transfer, exemption or condonement.
CIPS offers complimentary student memberships to those undertaking an accredited course for its duration.
