Study Law at UTS

Designed for law graduates, the UTS Master of Laws will give you the advantage you need to accelerate your career. This program is largely customisable. Other than two core subjects designed to enhance your research and analytical skills, you’ll have the power to design your own degree, selecting the subjects that most align with your professional goals from areas like dispute resolution, intellectual property, commercial law, and law and technology, .

You can study in-person, online, during the evening or through intensives. You can even select your study load each session, seamlessly switching from full-time to part-time study. What’s more, you’ll also get to learn directly from industry and academic experts and network with other legal professionals, building the vital connections you need for a vibrant, successful future.

What you'll study

This unique postgraduate program is only available to students who possess a law qualification. In this degree, you'll get the opportunity to choose to major in one or two in-demand areas of law, such as commercial law, legal practice, intellectual property, and law and technology.

You'll also get to direct your own learning, selecting from a wide range of optional subjects covering topics from human rights to corporate insolvency and refugee law. You can also choose to undertake a postgraduate exchange.

    This program allows you to major in one or two areas of Law, in which you’ll develop acute knowledge of your chosen specialty. Alternatively, you can choose not to major and curate your studies through options subjects.
