Your Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) is a score between 0.00 and 99.95. It shows you how you rank compared to all the students in your year group in New South Wales. A selection rank combines your ATAR with any other adjustment points that make up your overall university entrance score. Your selection rank may differ from university to university, depending on the adjustment points granted to you at each institution.

All you need to do is choose the Elective that inspires you the most.

Transdisciplinary Electives integrate knowledge from multiple disciplines, allowing you to approach complex problems from a range of perspectives.

By combining methods and insights from various disciplines, transdisciplinary learning often leads to breakthrough ideas and creative innovations that may not be possible within the confines of a single discipline.

If you find yourself rapt by the world of innovation – you can pair your core degree with a Diploma in Innovation, graduating with two qualifications in the same timeframe.

In both instances, you’ll work on a real-world challenge presented by an industry partner organisation – partners who often create career pathways for our graduates.

The course can be completed in a minimum of three years of full-time or six years of part-time study.

The course may be completed through either a full-time or part-time attendance pattern, or a combination of these.

Full-time study is usually undertaken at the rate of 24 credit points (up to a maximum of 26 credit points) a session. Students who wish to undertake more than the normal full-time load in one session must have their study plan endorsed by the UTS Business School.

Part-time study is usually undertaken at the rate of 12 credit points a session. Some subjects might be offered in the evening, however part-time students must be prepared to attend afternoon or morning classes.
2025 Indicative tuition fees for government-supported domestic students

All offers for domestic undergraduate students are for Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP).This means the Australian Government contributes to your education costs, and you pay the remaining tuition fees, known as the student contribution. If eligible, you can defer payment through HECS-HELP, or you can choose to pay your fees upfront each session.

Your tuition fees do not include:
- The Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF), which supports student services and activities. If eligible, you can defer this fee using SA-HELP.
- Textbooks, materials, and other course-related costs.
- Any applicable payment processing fees (e.g., credit card surcharges).

- Your actual fees depend on the year you enrol, your study load and the subjects you choose. Some subjects fall into different student contribution bands.

The Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting meet the educational membership requirements for entry into CPA Australia (CPAA), Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).

The Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resource Management has been accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (NAC) of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) for its membership program.

UTS is recognised as an affiliated university under the CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst®) University Affiliation Program.
Students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Business and have previously studied at another university or other recognised tertiary educational institution may be eligible for recognition of prior learning if the subjects previously studied are deemed by Business to be equivalent to those specified for their course.

Students who have completed a course at a private college are not eligible for any exemptions unless an articulation agreement between Business and the college is in place. Details of all arrangements are available via the credit recognition search tool.
