What you’ll study

This course is tailored for aspiring finance professionals who wish to elevate their professional competencies. What sets it apart is the flexibility to customise your degree. The six-subject core, which develops a solid foundation in the essentials of modern finance, is complemented by a six-subject major of your choosing. The majors allow you to acquire specialised skills in investment management, corporate finance, banking, financial technology, sustainable finance and ESG, or financial advice, so that you can focus your degree to target a career in a specialised area of finance.
The teaching approach is interactive, with an emphasis on real-world applications and critical thinking. The curriculum makes extensive use of case studies and other authentic learning experiences, which ensure that theoretical knowledge is enhanced through practical application. After completing the course, they emerge with refined skills, ready to tackle challenges and seize opportunities in the dynamic world of finance.
To be eligible for admission to this course, applicants must meet the following criteria.

Applicants must have the following:
- Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included)
Applicants who do not meet the criteria above should consider applying for C11027 Graduate Certificate in Finance.

Eligibility for admission does not guarantee offer of a place.
2025 Indicative tuition fees for domestic students

As a postgraduate student, you'll be responsible for covering your own tuition fees.

2025 Tuition Fee
- Indicative first-year tuition fee: $39,450.00
- Indicative total tuition fee: $60,062.63
You can choose to pay your fees upfront per session, or if you’re eligible, you can defer them using a government FEE-HELP loan. This loan helps you cover all or part of your tuition fees. Keep in mind that applications for this loan are specific to each course.

Additional Costs

Your tuition fees do not include:
- The Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF), which supports student services and activities. If eligible, you can defer this fee using SA-HELP.
- Textbooks, materials, and other course-related costs.
- Any applicable payment processing fees (e.g., credit card surcharges).

- The indicative tuition fees above are based on full-time study (1 year = 48 credit points).
- Your actual fees depend on the year you enrol, your study load and the subjects you choose. Some subjects fall into different student contribution bands.
