Defer your scholarship
If you’re unable to start your research degree in the session your scholarship has been awarded, you may be able to defer your scholarship funding until the following session, within the same calendar year. It is unlikely that you will be able to defer to the next calendar year. Please check your scholarship Conditions of Award for deferral options, or email the Graduate Research School at research.scholarships@uts.edu.au for advice.
If your orginal scholarship offer is in the UTS competitive scholarships list* below for Research Session 2, or you did not have a scholarship and wish to apply for it, you will need to complete the online scholarship application form to be considered for UTS competitive scholarships again. You will need to submit it along with:

- Research proposal with timeline
- Transcripts of further tertiary studies that you did not provide to UTS in your original application
