Support your UAC application with the Engineering and IT Questionnaire
Applying to UTS for Engineering or IT? Your Engineering and IT Questionnaire can strengthen your UAC application, even if your selection rank falls short by one to three points. Demonstrate your motivation and passion for these fields by submitting the questionnaire.
Key dates for submitting the Engineering and IT Questionnaire
- UAC applications for 2025 admission are now open.
- Submit your questionnaire by 10 January 2025.
- Offers will be made progressively from December Round 2.
Eligibility criteria
- Your questionnaire will be considered for your UAC application if:
- you are a current school leaver completing Year 12 (or equivalent)
- you achieved a minimum selection rank of 75. This selection rank includes
- your raw ATAR and adjustments
- you’ve listed UTS Engineering or IT as your first preference in UAC.
Your questionnaire will not be considered if:
- your preferred course has reached capacity
- you're applying for the Bachelor of Information Technology Co-operative Scholarship
- you're applying for the Bachelor of Engineering Science/Bachelor of Laws or the Bachelor of Information Technology/Bachelor of Laws.
How to submit your Engineering and IT Questionnaire through UAC

Fill out the Questionnaire
Download the template, enter your personal details and UAC reference number, then answer the questionnaire. Make sure to keep within the word limits.

Upload your responses
Head to UAC and attach your completed questionnaire responses as a PDF to your UAC application.

Confirm your details
Double-check that all required information is filled out, including your name, date of birth, UAC reference number, and contact information.

Hit submit
Submit your application and breathe a sigh of relief! If you meet the eligibility requirements, you’ll be considered for an offer in the UAC rounds.
