To study a postgraduate course, you'll need to meet our postgraduate admission requirements. Your course may also have additional course-specific requirements.

Am I eligible to apply for a postgraduate course?

We require all postgraduate applicants to meet our eligibility requirements to ensure their success while studying.

This requires:

1. possessing relevant qualifications or experience
2. English language proficiency
3. meeting course-specific requirements.

Possessing relevant qualifications or experience

The general requirement for admission is an Australian bachelor degree or overseas equivalent.

However, some courses consider other qualifications or work experience. Check your course overview page to confirm whether your course accepts:

• graduate certificates
• graduate diplomas
• TAFE diplomas, or
• significant work experience, substantiated with letters from employers.

English language proficiency

You must meet the English language proficiency requirements to be eligible for postgraduate study.
