Sustainable Development Goals in the Asia Pacific: A Shared Agenda for Action
The Sustainable Development Goals in the Asia Pacific: A Shared Agenda for Action Forum brought together close to 70 academics, development practitioners, and policy makers in June 2016 to discuss how the development community can work together to best influence and inform the take up of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in our region. All participants contributed to the discussions and the formulation of ‘calls to action’ for specific projects and initiatives that the Sydney-based development community can work on collaboratively to help achieve the SDGs in our region.
Two outputs of the Forum were released: Forum Summary and a Calls to Action which arose from the event. The Forum Summary provides a high-level summary of key learnings. The calls to action is a longer report, which captures the key note addresses and group discussions in more detail.
