In collaboration with the Kiribati Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS) and the Australian Government of Foreign Affairs and Trade(DFAT), the WHO Collaborating Centre at the University of Technology Sydney (WHO CC UTS) is working to develop the country's health resource management and budget allocations over the next ten years.
The work involved collection and review of relevant and documentation and data sets including annual bulletins, census, strategic plans, policies, strategies, observations and interviews, with constant stakeholder consultation and involvement. The final draft HWFSP was presented at the joint stakeholders Health Sector Coordination Committee meeting in October.
