Design and Architecture portfolio scheme
Are you interested in studying a Design or Architecture course at UTS?
Are you a non-current school leaver (not completing Year 12 in 2024)?
Applications for 2025 Autumn intake have now closed.
The UTS Design and Architecture Portfolio Scheme provides an entry opportunity for non-current school leavers based on a portfolio of design and architecture work that allows us to assess your suitability for the course
If you are a non-current school leaver and are worried that your qualification rank or ATAR alone may not get you a place, follow the instructions below to submit your portfolio.
Application dates
The Design and Architecture Portfolio Scheme is open from Friday 8 November to Friday 22 November 2024. You might want to start preparing your portfolio now so that you can submit your best work by the closing date.
Make sure you check the portfolio requirements specific to the course you are applying for and submit your portfolio on time as late applications will not be accepted.

Both successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email. Make sure to check your junk/spam inbox in case you don’t see it.
If you’re not successful for the portfolio scheme, you’ll still be considered for offers (provided there are vacancies) based on any eligible academic study you have completed.
