The Schools Recommendation Scheme (SRS) at UTS supports Year 12 students to access university when their ATAR alone isn't sufficient.
Schools Recommendation Scheme
It recognises students for skills and achievements outside their performance in Year 12, including their overall suitability for tertiary study, based on a recommendation from their school principal or careers advisor.
Applicants must be eligible for 'socio-economic disadvantage', 'school environment' or 'financial hardship' categories through UAC Educational Access Schemes (EAS) to apply for SRS.
UTS offers an additional pathway through the SRS for First Nations students who are leaders in their community.
