To study a PhD or Research Masters you must meet certain requirements.
Before we consider your full application, we first look at whether you’re eligible to study your proposed course. Here’s what we look for.
Qualification requirements
English language requirements
All research courses require evidence of English language proficiency.
Discipline specific requirements
Your previous qualifications may need to be in the related discipline if you are applying for a course in any of these areas:
- engineering
- IT
- health, or
- science.
If you’re pursuing a research course in a health discipline, you may need to prove your professional authorisation to practice.
Ask your potential supervisor or faculty if this is necessary for your research topic.
