How to accept

• Step 1: Review and sign your acceptance form

  To accept your offer, you will need to log in to the UTS Application Portal with your application credentials. If you’ve received an offer, your application status will show ‘Offer’. 

  Your offer letter includes:

  • Your course details and conditions
  • Estimated tuition fees and living costs
  • Your acceptance form

  Take your time to carefully read your offer letter — it includes important information about your course, fees and estimated living costs.
  
  When ready, sign the acceptance form. Your signature must match the one on your passport. When you accept your offer online, you’ll need to pay a tuition deposit to guarantee your place and receive an Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE). The eCoE is required to apply your visa. 
  
  You must accept your offer by the deadline stated in your offer details, or you will lose your place in the program. If you need to update your start date, you can defer your offer - more information on this can be found further down the page.

  If you applied via a UTS representative, contact your agent to manage acceptance on your behalf.
  
  If you are under 18, special conditions apply to ensure your welfare.

  If you don't want to accept your offer online, you can drop off your acceptance documents at the International Student Centre on campus or send the documents to our mailing address.

• Step 2: Accept your offer and submit documents

   If you applied directly to UTS (without an agent), select “Accept Offer” on the Respond to Offer page in the application portal. Then, you will need to upload the following documents:

  • Completed and signed acceptance form
  • Proof of payment (ie Flywire payment ID, copy of bank draft or bank cheque)
  • Copy of your passport ID page (if not provided already)
  • Scholarship Acceptance Form, if applicable
  • Financial Guarantee Letter, if you are sponsored by your government or employer
  • Under 18 Welfare Arrangement form (if applicable)

  Once all documents are uploaded, you can proceed to payment.

  If you applied via a UTS education agent, send your acceptance documents to your agent, who will submit them on your behalf.

• Step 3: Pay your tuition fees

  To secure your place at UTS, we ask you to pay a deposit using one of the approved methods:

  1. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) via the third party provider Flywire.
  2. Bank draft or bank cheque drawn on a bank in Australia and made payable to the 'University of Technology Sydney'. If you make a payment using this method, please post the original bank draft/cheque with your full name and student number clearly written on the back to:

  BPAY – only available to students previously enrolled at UTS.

  If you're a sponsored student (by your government or employer), payment of a deposit is not required. However, your Sponsor must provide a valid financial guarantee that covers the sponsorship/scholarship period along with the permission to release information form.

  Your sponsor must issue a valid financial guarantee on official letterhead that includes:

  • Full name as per your passport
  • Date of birth as per your passport
  • Institution name (University of Technology Sydney)
  • Course name and course CRICOS code
