UTS Counselling is committed to inclusivity. We are here to support all UTS students. Counsellors have completed Indigenous Cultural Awareness Training and are part of the UTS Ally Network supporting gender, sex and sexuality diverse students.
Alex Mackenzie (she/her)
- She is currently on extended leave until April 2025.
- She holds qualifications as a Psychologist.
- She works with clients using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- She aims to provide a non-judgemental and validating approach, while also helping clients to learn new skills and work towards their goals.

Annie Zhou (she/her)

Fiona Scott (she/her)
- She holds qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist.
- She works with clients using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
- She is a UTS LGBTQIA+ Ally.

She has worked internationally in Paris and Tokyo.
Geoff Francis
- Geoff holds qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Geoff works with clients using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Attachment Therapy and is trained in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and neurodiversity.
- Geoff’s clinical aims are to inform, educate and provide new skills within a positive accepting and validating counselling setting.
- Geoff is qualified in trauma-informed practice and utilises a trauma informed approach.
India Scott (she/her)
- She holds qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist.
- She works with clients using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
- She works with a wide range of presenting problems and has a particular interest in assisting people struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, procrastination and low self-esteem.
- She is a UTS LGBTQIA+ Ally.
- She is qualified in trauma-informed practice and utilises a trauma informed approach.
Isabella Choi (she/her)
- She holds qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist.
- She works with clients using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy.

Matthew Vaughan (he/him)
- He holds qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist.
- He works with clients using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness.
- He aims to help clients achieve their best in their academic and personal lives.
- He has a warm, empathic, and non-judgemental approach and enjoys working collaboratively with clients.

Sarah Charaf (she/her)
- She holds qualifications as a Psychologist.
- She works with clients using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma informed therapy, and person-centred care.
- She aims to provide a warm and non-judgemental approach, with a view towards collaborating and working towards client-based goals.
- She is qualified in Cultural and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and ‘Breaking the binary’ training and is committed to continued inclusive practice and training.
