European Commission Mobility of Health Professionals (MoHProf)

The Mobility of Health Professionals (MoHProf) is a research project funded by the European Commission and led by the German Academy of Medical Science. The objective was to apply new research methods to generate a scientific evidence base for informed policy decisions on the mobility of health professionals. The Asian Research Team included researchers from India, Philippines and Australia - WHO CC UTS.

The final global report and individual country reports (opens an external site) were finalised and published online in 2012. A summary report of Mobility of health professionals (opens an external site) has been published by Springer, Science and Research series.

Key findings will be fed into other regional and global HRH work to inform policy decisions on the mobility of health professionals.
