WHO CC involvement: Prof Caroline Homer
The WHO CC UTS is collaborating with University of Sydney to develop short course training in Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH). WHO CC UTS is providing expertise in midwifery programs, developed in more than a decade in conducting short courses in low-income countries.
Collaboration with other academic institutions and furthering established effective programs is an efficient use of resources and will allow for up skilling of health professionals in maternal, neonatal and child health in other underdeveloped regions such as the Pacific.
