UTS’s Faculty of Design, Architecture & Building has created Australia’s first and only degree to specialise in real estate and investment. It deals specifically with the finance, investment, management, valuation and analysis skills required to succeed in the global real estate investment sector.

Global investment (opens an external site) in commercial property is at its highest level since the Global Financial Crisis. Property investment research firm DTZ’s Money into Property 2014 report found that ‘Global commercial real estate investment, excluding land transactions reached USD518bn in 2013, a 22% increase on 2012.’ Meanwhile, the Asia Pacific region is now the world’s largest property market, with USD4.6tn of global real estate invested stock.
