Leading Industry in Indigenous Thought Leadership

In July of this year, the Business School and Jumbunna Research hosted a highly successful webinar, ‘Comfort and Safety for your First Nations employees in 2023ʼ attracting an impressive 1,200 registrations, with approximately 1000 attendees who remained engaged throughout the event. Led by Professor Nareen Young, with leading industry experts from Deloitte, Accor and the ACTU, the webinar played a pivotal role in helping employers gain a deeper understanding of how to support their First Nations employees and colleagues during the Voice Referendum period. The Business School also hosted a SXSW panel discussion on ‘Indigenous employment leadership in modern corporations – what are we missing?ʼ as part of a week of public talks at UTS House, featuring Professor Nareen Young and Professor Prabhu Sivabalan.
