Referencing styles
The referencing style to be used in your written work generally depends on the academic discipline concerned. For example, the APA style is one of the most popular in the social sciences. The preferred style in engineering and information technology disciplines is the IEEE style. In some cases, individual subject coordinators may have a preference for a particular style, so it is best to confirm which style is to be used in each of your subjects.
Open-book exams
The final exam for many subjects will be open book or restricted open book. Students are able to bring notes, textbooks or other approved materials into the exam.

Group study
