AAi NewsBytes March 2014
Director's Welcome
Edition 2: March 2014
In this edition, we celebrate our endorsement by the Association for Computing Machinery to establish and host an Australia and New Zealand Chapter of its Special Interest Group on Knowledge Discovery from Data (ANZ SIGKDD). This endorsement reflects our thought leadership in the sector, and highlights the quality and impact of the region’s activities in this area. The ANZ Chapter will organise a range of events and knowledge sharing activities headlined by the annual Big Data Summit to be held in Sydney later this year. The Summit is a unique business-oriented forum for sharing advanced data science and best big data practices between industry, government and academia. We also highlight how our data analytics consulting team helped a leading global technology company integrate data from multiple sources to provide unique customer insights, which helped the company to improve business with those customers. The takeaway here is that there’s no shortage of useful data in most organisations and government departments which, when properly mined and interpreted, can create opportunities for driving business growth.

Like many companies, they had a wealth of data to explore, but they needed specialist data analytics services to uncover the cause of the dissatisfaction. Find out how AAi helped here. | |||
