Combined degrees with Communication
All majors in the Bachelor of Communication can be chosen with a combined degree:
Communication with International Studies
Go global with a combined Communication/International Studies degree (BIS). As well as taking you out into the world, an International Studies qualification will give you a global perspective on your Communication studies. It’ll also make you more competitive in a global employment market. You'll have the option to study one of six languages (Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, or Spanish), and choose from a range of overseas study options, including 2-6 weeks intensives, a 6 month Global Exchange, or an International Honours year fully immersed in your host nation's language and culture*.
The Bachelor of International Studies can be combined with all Communication majors. Five years full-time, 240 cp.
*Students who have (and maintain) a credit point average (WAM) for their combined degree can opt into the honours and go on In-Country Study (ICS) in their fourth year. This study must be undertaken in a UTS partner university where the language of instruction is the language of the major.
