Our vision is that study and career journeys in Engineering and IT are not limited by gender.
Founded in 1981, Women in Engineering and IT is a program of the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the University of Technology and Sydney. We achieve our vision by:
- Collaborating with academic and professional staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students, industry, schools, government and the community
- Innovating gender equity programs that inspire and engage
- Creating and sharing new knowledge, and contributing impactful research to inform practices in education and the workplace
- Building an inclusive community in engineering and IT.
Our team of academic and professional staff, students and volunteers provide opportunities for women and gender-diverse students to engage in engineering and IT throughout their study and careers.
