This unique three-year program, which is open to domestic students, incorporates the core components of the UTS Master of Pharmacy (such as therapeutics, pharmaceutical science subjects, and designing and implementing professional pharmacy services) with an extensive series of clinical placements. You’ll spend a year on placement in Canada, Germany or in the United Kingdom, in addition to the 500+ hours of clinical placements throughout the course.
We will cover airfares, health insurance and visa fees for your year of international clinical placement, and we’ll also provide you with in-country mentor support while you’re away.
Don’t speak the language? Don’t worry! Previous proficiency isn’t required when you choose an overseas location – you can study language subjects as part of your course. Learn more about the Master of Pharmacy (International).
Essential course information:
- Duration: 3 years full-time, including 1-year international placement
- This course comprises a total of 156 credit points. Students undertake a total of 16 6-credit-point subjects, four 6-credit-point clinical subjects and two 18-credit-point international placement subjects.
- Placements offered in Canada, Germany or in the United Kingdom
- Plus 500 hours of clinical placements throughout the course
