Juan has moved to Sydney to begin his PhD in Economics at UTS. He is originally from Argentina and grew up during turbulent years of Argentina’s economy - so he is passionate about the importance of Macroeconomic Policy.  In 2015, he was awarded an Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship to study a Masters in Economic Policy at ANU, where he focused on Macroeconomic Modelling and Computational Macroeconomics.

 

Research Interests:

Effects of monetary policy; Formulation and estimation of dynamic general equilibrium models; Vector Autoregressions for policy analysis
