Aleksandra Erakhtina
Career Overview:
Aleksandra has received her Bachelor degree at Novosibirsk State University. In 2017, she was awarded the French Government Scholarship to obtain her Master degree at Paris School of Economics & Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne majoring in Political Economy. She successfully defended her thesis on modelling Brexit in terms of Bargaining theory.
Aleksandra finished her postgraduate studies in Economics at the Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering in Novosibirsk. While investigating and forming her research interests she attended various workshops and seminars including V Winter Scientific School on Diversity CSDSI - New Economic School; XII Russian Summer School on Institutional Analysis - Higher School of Economics; 24th Visiting Graduate Student Workshop in Experimental Economics ESI - Chapman University; Summer School on Socioeconomic Inequality HCEO - University of Chicago & New Economic School; Summer School on Experimental Economics - Higher School of Economics, and more. She also was a Teaching Assistant at Novosibirsk State University for 3 years teaching Basics of Experimental Economics and Experimental Design & Programming in oTREE for Bachelor students.
Aleksandra is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Economics at University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. Her research interests mainly focus on Behavioural and Experimental Economics, in particular herd behaviour, ethical priming and nudging. She has been working as a Marketing Analyst for more than 5 years, trying to implement some of the research instruments and tools to real-world company level issues.
