Good On You is a tech start-up aiming to help consumers shop more ethically and sustainably. In her internship role, Tanya drew on her research and analytical skills gained in the Bachelor of Global Studies to source and compile brand data and investigate issues like fair wages, water use and responsible sourcing of animal products.
It brings joy to know you are working towards an impact necessary for the long term. Global supply chains in the fashion world need to change. Trying to support the worker and to protect our environment and animals is rewarding as much as it is challenging. My experience stretches beyond just an internship; it gave me knowledge that I want to share.
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Global Studies complete either a domestic or international internship as part of their degree, which enables them to gain practical work experience, applying their skills and knowledge.
