My internship with CIM Enviro completely exceeded my expectations of what an internship could be like. CIM Enviro is a small technology start-up and is advancing tuning software that finds operational inefficiencies in building data. This not only saves building owners time and money, but also reduces their carbon emissions.
I’ve been writing articles, learning and implementing digital marketing strategies, writing proposals and helping my supervisor find innovative ways to utilise technology to grow the company. The research, analysis, communication skills and global awareness that I have learnt in my degree created a foundation that I can build real-world skills upon, and this internship has peaked my interest in technology companies and solidified that I definitely want to be working in Marketing.
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Global Studies complete either a domestic or international internship as part of their degree, which enables them to gain practical work experience, applying their skills and knowledge.
