We want all members of the UTS community to be safe. Everyone has the right to work and study in a safe and supported environment.
A safe community
Our commitment to a campus free of sexual harm
UTS takes a zero tolerance approach to sexual harm, recognising that zero tolerance is the first step towards elimination.
Our commitment to a campus free of sexual harm
It takes courage to reach out, but if you have experienced sexual harm, help is available. Any UTS student or staff member can report an incident of sexual harm at any time. UTS will support and guide you through the reporting process.
What to do if you have experienced sexual harm
The safety and wellbeing of children
UTS is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and will take necessary steps to protect children from abuse, harassment, neglect and/or exploitation.
Any instances of child abuse, or allegations of child abuse, whether trivial, minor or lacking evidence, must be reported.
Speak up at UTS
UTS is committed to an ethical and transparent culture.
As a community, we must work together to maintain high standards and ethical behaviour to deliver on our obligations to each other, our students, our partners and the wider community. We must continue to support a speak up culture.
