In conjunction with the Aurora Education Foundation, UTS financially supports Indigenous scholars who aspire to, apply for and successfully complete postgraduate studies at world-leading universities such as Oxford, Harvard and Cambridge. The Aurora Indigenous Scholars International Scholarship Program assists UTS to build the ranks of potential future Indigenous academic leaders, academics and researchers, taking into account UTS’s employment needs and resources.
UTS then works with the individual scholars for ongoing engagement, post completion of their overseas study, including but not limited to academics, fellowships, doctoral or post-doctoral work, promotional activities or participation in UTS advisory bodies or committees.
