What we do in Marketing
Research
The Marketing Department's research was top-ranked - 'well above world standard' - in the most recent evaluation by the Australian Research Council. Our culturally diverse faculty members hold PhDs from leading Australian and International universities. They are internationally recognised experts in their fields of research and have published in top-tier journals in Marketing and other business disciplines. The doctoral Program in Marketing challenges students to identify critical issues and meaningful research questions in the field of marketing and to execute their research to deliver robust results. The academics of the Marketing Discipline Group have research expertise that spans a wide range of marketing fields, with particular strengths in five areas.
Teaching
The Marketing Department offers courses at the undergraduate, honours, masters and PhD level. The UTS Model of Learning provides a framework for practice-oriented learning and teaching which takes place with a seamless integration of the best of online and face-to-face on-campus learning.
Events and seminars
The Marketing Department hosts a series of Research Seminars, presented by our own staff and research students, as well as visiting researchers. We also participate in other special events with particular focus on inductry or community issues.
