Person-centred care in diverse populations
About
Associate Professor Suzanne Sheppard-Law's program of research examines the delivery and impact of person-centred nursing care on the nursing workforce and for people living with complex chronic communicable and non-communicable diseases with a particular focus on marginalised and diverse population groups.
Her role as a conjoint clinical chair between UTS and the POWH and SSEH aims to build the research capacity and capability of registered nurses and to undertake clinical based research and translation of research into clinical practice.
More recently, she has initiated research measuring the impact of COVID-19 on person-centred care and, Registered Nurse and Bachelor of Nursing student wellbeing.

Suzanne's research contributes to the advancement of person-centred care and communication, patient safety and nurse wellbeing.
