Big Picture Learning Australia – Portfolio pathway
This scheme recognises the personalised, real-world focused education provided by BPLA, aligning with UTS’s emphasis on practical and innovative learning experiences.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this admissions pathway, applicants must:
- be currently enrolled in or have graduated from a BPLA-affiliated school.
- present the International Big Picture Learning Credential (IBPLC), which reflects a broad range of skills and experiences.
How to apply
- Application through UAC: Apply to your chosen UTS course through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).
- Portfolio and personal statement: Submit your BPLA digital portfolio alongside any relevant supporting documents detailing your internships, projects, and other real-world experiences. You will also need to submit a personal statement highlighting how your BPLA education has prepared you for study at UTS. Submit documents to UTS by 1 November 2024 by email access.schemes@uts.edu.au.
- Credential submission: Submit your BPLA Credential. Submit documents to UTS by 21 November 2024 by email access.schemes@uts.edu.au.
- Attend an interview: Applicants will be invited to attend an interview with the relevant faculty. This interview will play a critical role in the assessment process.
