Fees and scholarships
Uni Fees
If you’re a domestic student, you’ll be studying in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP). This means the Australian Government makes a contribution to the cost of your study, while you pay a student contribution.
You can pay your student contribution upfront or – if you’re eligible – defer it using HECS-HELP.
If you’re an international student, see the UTS International website for information on international student fees.
Student Services and Amenities Fee
The Student Services and Amenities Fee funds a wealth of activities and services for all UTS students – so it’ll make a huge difference to your uni experience. The fee pays for things like social and cultural clubs; services for developing your study skills; and free breakfasts and dinners for students during session.
Scholarships
At UTS, we’re all about rewarding effort and supporting circumstance. That’s why UTS offer more than 1,000 scholarships every year. If you’re a high achiever, in financial need, an elite athlete, or if you’re from a diverse background, a UTS scholarship can help take care of your finances, so you can focus on the important stuff. Make sure you also check out scholarships and prizes offered only to students studying science or maths at UTS.
Financial Assistance
If you’re struggling with your finances, the UTS Financial Assistance Service can help. You could be eligible for an interest-free student loan of up to $500 from UTS to help with bills, rent, one-off living expenses and unexpected costs, like medical fees.
